Become a community volunteer!
We value the skills and passion to help others that everyone brings forward. There are many ways to become one of our community volunteers.
Volunteer
opportunities
Peer volunteer
A peer volunteer is willing to donate their time to spend with survivors in one-on-one interactions. This may include visiting with the clients, engaging in activities, or accompanying on errands together. The vast majority of our volunteers are peer volunteers.
Service provider
Do you have a skill that could improve a survivor's quality of life? Attorneys, Cosmetologists, Counselors, Life Coaches, Massage Therapists, Nail artists, Nutritionists, etc. — if you have a service you would like to volunteer, please contact us to discuss!
Survivor advocate
Each survivor is assigned an advocate who helps to identify their personal needs and makes recommendations to the board regarding the use of funds. These Advocates are the most involved volunteers and crucial to what we do.
